Almost Done!!!

I did my presentation Tuesday in class and think it went well. I believe I explained all the main points of my marketing plan to the fullest. This project not only helped me understand how to start a company or help them increase earnings, but it also helped my mom due more research on her own companies goals.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. The biggest problem we had when trying to decide what strategies to use was how we were going to meet the vendors needs as well as the consumers. There were products that we knew the consumers wanted but couldn't convince the vendors that they would sell.

Marketing for Entrepreneurs

My name is Brandt Barnes and I am a Junior at Rogers State University in Claremore Oklahoma. I am currently enrolled in the fall class of Marketing for Entrepreneurs and am creating this blog for this class.

I am going to write a marketing plan for my mothers business ran in Bentonville, Arkansas. Her company sales bedding and throws to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target. She started her office by herself out home in our computer room 8 years ago and now has 10 people under her at the office and is located in a 2 building office. She also has many more employees off site that wait to do their work to hear what her decision is. When she informed me that they don't have a marketing program I wanted to write one for her.
